There are opportunities for players to moved UP a grade level, if throughout the season they show they have exceeded expectations on the team they were originally placed on. We DO NOT follow nor do we believe in the "equal" playing time rule. AAU basketball is for advanced players that have to EARN their playing time by; showing up to practices, participating in practices, being coachable, working hard, and being a team player!

AAU Season
Our program house both Boys and Girls teams. All players MUST attend tryouts each year in order to have a chance at being placed on a team . There are no guarantee roster spots. Both Boys and Girls tryouts are held at the beginning of each calendar year. Teams are selected by our team of coaches and trainers. The total number of teams varies each year, depending on number of coaches and talent that we acquire from tryouts.
If for any reason a player is unable to attend tryouts you must contact us to see if; 1) there are any roster spots available for your age group 2) if we are willing to schedule a private make up tryout. AAU basketball is not recommended for beginners, due to the fast pace at competition. We do offer 1 on 1 skills and development training for beginners and experienced players. Contact us if interested.

Spring Season 9U-17U Boys & 15-16U Girls
Our spring season starts at the end of March through the mid-June. We hold tryouts for 11u-13u in February and 15u-17u at the end of March after the MSHL regular season ends. Program training camp begins at the end of March.
Practice: Starts in April. There are 2 practices per week. Locations included but not limited to: Minneapolis Jerry Gambles, Crystal Community Center, Robbinsdale Community Gym, and Zanewood Community Center.

$700 (In state teams)
Includes; FTB Gear; uniform, warmup shirt, backpack, and 6 guaranteed in state tournaments
$800 (Teams that travel)
Includes; FTB Gear; uniform, warmup shirt, backpack, workouts, 5 guaranteed in state tournaments and 1 guaranteed out of state tournaments. (travel expenses not included in registration fee: transportation/flight/room)
Refund Policy
Tryouts: Rather a player shows up or decides they no longer want to try out, There is absolutely NO REFUNDS!
Commitment Fee: If a player accepts a roster position, pays the commitment fee, then decides they no longer want to join the program, fees will NOT be refunded.
Season Fee: NON refundable after offers are accepted and season is underway.
Fall Season Grades TBD (NEW 2026)
Our newly added Fall season will begin in September and will end mid-October. Fall season is a short season with only 5 tournaments total. Not all players will be invited to play in the Fall season. We will select the fall teams by observing all players throughout the season.
We will then make our selections based on; a teams overall success, the development and growth of players individual skills and IQ, and will factor in any attendance and behavioral issues.
